Help Riverside get a free fruit tree orchard!

You all may have heard word of the garden we have up by UCR (Crest Community Church, Mt. Vernon Ave). So, basically, we've submitted a grant proposal to the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation and are now in a web-based competition with other places across the US to receive 25 fruit trees, assistance with planting and irrigation, and a workshop hosted by a Master Arborist.

If you wanna help out, you can vote for our garden here: http://www.communitiestakeroot.com/Plant/Index

We're Father's Garden at Crest Community Church, by the way. Thanks!!

Oh, and if you're interested with helping out at the garden, email me at oolascoola@aim.com. There's plenty of space available and we seriously could use more volunteers.

  1. Their map is sorta funky. Click List by state, and then Riverside.

"You can vote one time each day—and every day—until the voting ends on August 31 at 11:59 PST"

The current lead has 854 votes, we've got 27, but August is a lot of time to get votes in.
